A Couple Things From PAX East

Just a quick update before I run out the door to Philadelphia for a concert. PAX East has started and has some surprises in store.

Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft
Looks to be a standard Collectible Card Game from a small team at Blizzard it will be free to play...more than likely have a cash option which will turn into "PAY TO WIN". It is rather standard as far as CCGs are concerned they even have a flashy cinematic that Blizzard is known for. Ideally Warcraft is the best series for this type of game considering there are tons of characters, weapons, etc... Only time will tell what this turns into.

Final Fantasy X and X-2 HD
Obviously it will be coming to the Vita and PS3 eventually...they say sometime this year. They will be packaged onto a single disc for the PS3 version, I'm assuming a price range anywhere from 40 - 60. Just based on the screenshots it does look like they put a fair amount of work in the remaster, and they are also saying that North America will be getting the international content we didn't previously receive  I will be buying obviously just to play one of my favorite games in proper HD format.

DuckTales Remastered
Yes a huge surprise from PAX was Capcom teaming with Wayforward to revive this old title. To give you perspective DuckTales originally came out in 1989...I was 1. They are calling it a remaster though not much detail was given on it. It will be out this summer for Xbox Live, PSN, and Wii U. Also I hear it will be the greatest game ever and allow me to relive my childhood...
